An LAPD officer performed the National Anthem at game six of the World Series yesterday evening, kicking off the showdown between the LA Dodgers and the Houston Astros.

In addition to allowing a police officer to sing, the Astros and Dodgers honored the victims of Tuesday’s truck attack in New York with a moment of silence.

LAPD Officer Rosalind Curry gave an outstanding rendition of the nation’s anthem, causing the crowd to go wild with thunderous cheers.

According to Billboard, the Dodgers won the game, helping their odds of winning the World Series.
