A Detroit pastor referred to a white police officer as a “cracker” after being put into handcuffs.

Reverend David Bullock was arrested on June 24 by Highland Park Police after he had interrupted the investigation regarding the assault of a child by a mentally ill woman.  While the officer was interviewing the victim and her mom, Bullock repeatedly intervened, leading to his arrest after multiple warnings.

According to Click On Detroit, while the video eventually made its way to YouTube, the city insists they didn’t post it.

During his arrest, Bullock used a racial slur to refer to the caucasian police officer, as well as dropping the “N-word.”

“Y’all goin’ to let this cracker do this?” he said.

Charged with obstructing police, Bullock’s case is pending and he currently believes race plays a factor in his arrest.
