A Texas couple ran down and shot an individual who they caught peeping in their daughter’s window, putting an end to the offender’s perverted plans.
The parents stated that they were alerted to the man’s presence after hearing their daughter scream.
The man had reportedly been touching himself during the ordeal.
“She looks over at the window and this guy is at her window,” said the girl’s mother, who asked not to be identified. “He took my daughter’s innocence away.”
The parents armed themselves with handguns and chased down the deviant, who was reported to be intoxicated.
According to the New York Post, the father and mother ordered the man to lie down in the yard and wait for police.
The man refused, and began walking towards a gas station.
Getting ahead of the deviant, the father raced into the gas station to call 911, but soon discovered that the man had disarmed his wife.
Pointing the woman’s own handgun at her, the deviant soon found himself incapacitated after being shot by the husband.
The deviant was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.
The incident will be reviewed by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, who in turn will leave the decision up to a grand jury.
