A Broadway actress is out of a job after she posted a video rant online where she blasted the NYPD for shutting down a portion of 5th avenue for the funeral procession for fallen officer Jason Rivera.

According to the NY Post, Jacqueline Guzman posted the video to her TikTok account. In it, she complained about the need to shut down a section of the road, accused the officer of being killed for doing his job wrong, and that the large event could hinder emergency services to anyone else in the area.

Guzman was an actress with the Face to Face Films, which quickly dropped her after the video went viral and people jumped into the comments.

What Guzman failed to realize is that it wasn’t just a few hundreds of officers who showed up to pay their respects, but thousands of New Yorks lined the streets to send the fallen officer off before he was laid to rest.

Rivera was shot and killed responding to a domestic violence incident last weekend. His partner was also shot and died a few days later. Wilbert Mora, Rivera’s partner, is scheduled to be laid to rest this week.

The man who shot both officers died on Monday after officers returned fire.
