Sixty people took cover on Sunday night when a suspect fired a flurry of bullets into the crowd. One person was killed, five others injured as the mood of the graduation party quickly went from celebration to mourning.
According to NBC Philadelphia, the gunman was standing in a nearby parking lot with two other people when the suspect pulled out a gun and began firing randomly into the crowd.
Four teenagers were hit, as was a 21-year-old. Police say the man killed was a 24-year-old person.
The five people injured are expected to survive.
Philadelphia PD expects to obtain and review some nearby surveillance video. It hopes to identify the suspect and his friends from those images.
