The suspect has been identified as Steven Jones, 18. The shooting occurred outside of Mountain View Hall, a dormitory that houses most of the campus’ students involved in Greek organizations. But some students reported that the shooting, which could have happened in the dorm’s courtyard, may have stemmed from an argument over money. FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Officials say one person is dead and three others are wounded following an early morning shooting at Northern Arizona University
School public relations director Cindy Brown says the suspected shooter is in custody.
She says the first police calls of the gunfire came in at 1:20 a.m. PDT Friday.
The shooting occurred in a parking lot outside Mountain View Hall dormitory at the northeast side of the Flagstaff campus.
