In a sadly less-than-shocking video that takes place at Kennesaw State University in Georgia, an officer is seen explaining to a young woman that it’s illegal to destroy a protester’s sign.

Here’s a bit of the dialogue that proves just because you go to college doesn’t mean you’re educated. Or smart. At all.

Young woman: “Can I know why I’m in trouble?”

Officer: “Because you helped tear up a sign”

Young Woman: “Ok…”

Officer: “Which is a crime”

Young Woman: “How”

Officer: “Because it’s someone else’s property”

After the crowd starts in with their legal opinions on the matter, the officer removes the offenders from the area for a ‘private conversation.’
