Shocking video obtained by a Houston ABC affiliate shows a robbery suspect disarming a Houston police officer and then holding the weapon to the officer’s head.

According to KTRK, the two robbers entered a Verizon Wireless store earlier this month where the officer was working security. One of those robbers pointed a gun at the crowd while another walked straight at the officer who was seeking cover behind a table.

In the video, you see the robber walk around the table, grab the officer’s weapon, and then holds the gun to the officer’s head.

The officer is then forced to lay on the ground as the robbery gets wrapped up.

Eventually, the two robbers joined their get-away driver and led police on a brief chase.

Two of those three suspects were arrested, but the third was able to escape.

The officer’s firearm and stolen cellphones were recovered.

According to KTRK, that was the first day on the job for the officer.
