An off-duty Racine Police officer was shot and killed while trying to stop an armed robbery at a bar Monday night.
According to ABC News, Officer John Hetland saw the robbery taking place at Tezzers Tavern in Racine. He attempted to stop the robbery and was shot and killed by the suspect.
That gunman is now on the run as police launch a manhunt to find the murderer.
