An off-duty Detroit Police officer was murdered at her home in what investigators are calling a domestic violence incident.
Garden City Police a heading up the investigation, which involved a female DPD officer found dead after reports of shots fired around 11:40 PM on Sunday.
WXYZ confirms the case is domestic and there is no further danger to the public.
According to the Detroit Free Press, a second person was found wounded in a car outside the home and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
