A California carnival erupted into pandemonium over the weekend in Oakland after a mob of teens began attacking carnival workers and taking anything that wasn’t bolted down, making off with over $30,000 in merchandise.

Hundreds of teens began stealing prizes at the Butler Carnival Saturday night, climbing on kiosks and booths to grab whatever they wanted without repercussion with no police or security in sight.

Carnival workers say that some of their own were attacked in the incident.

“One of our guys got hit with a brick and had to go to the hospital because the guy said you didn’t win and they threw a brick at him,” one worker said.

According to KRON4, most of the stolen prizes were reportedly destroyed by the mob, scattering pieces in the fairground lot.

The incident was captured on video by several bystanders, with one calling the incident “crazy.”

“This is in the aftermath of a mob striking at Butler Amusement Park,” he said. “They just started down here at the end and worked their way up stand by stand, grabbing all the stuffed animals they could. It’s just crazy and they’re still going down there.”

Police confirm that two people were hospitalized as a result of the riot.

One rioter -who goes by the username Queenroma– was so brazen that she admitted to the act on Twitter.

“I felt like I was in the game grand theft auto had me hopin [sic] fences / running from cops / stealing teddy bears,” she said. “#oaklandcarnival.”

No arrests have been made.
