A Chicago comedian who has a long history of getting into trouble with the police is now wanted by the NYPD after he attempted to take an officer’s gun.
According to the NY Post, Famous Richard, as he goes on TikTok, is responding to the arrest by saying that if the police come after him, he’ll be armed himself.
Richard Sharp, his real name, attempted to take an officer’s weapon in a now viral TikTok video. He has racked up thousands of views with his ambush video techniques, and police officers are his favorite target.
Sharp has been arrested 12 different times and is associated with a Chicago gang.
The NYPD put out the alert that Sharp is harassing officers, reaching for weapons, invading personal space, and “terrorizing officers.”
