Security footage captured the moment when a Bronx apartment was forcibly invaded by two armed individuals, resulting in the occupants being stripped of their valuables.
The video, which was obtained by the NYPD News Twitter page, shows a violent robbery that took place on 16 December, near Montgomery Ave & W 176 St in the Bronx.
Armed with firearms and knives, the two criminals forced their way into the apartment, where they relieved the occupants of everything from jewelry to phones.
The NYPD is urging anyone with information to step forward and provide anonymous tips at 1-800-577-TIPS.
