A Georgia police officer looking for a decent meal at his local KFC got more than he ordered on Friday.

According to the Newnan Times-Herald, the police officer found a “foreign object” buried in his food. What that object was has not been revealed.

Because the suspected KFC location is outside of Newnan PD jurisdiction, the case has been turned over to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office stated that KFC refused to allow officers to review surveillance video, but an attorney for the owner later claimed that those managers do not have access to the video equipment and that he will cooperate with law enforcement.

So far, no one has come forward to claim responsibility.

No arrests have been made but an investigation has begun.
