What does the NFL and Emperor Palpatine lookalike George Soros have in common? They are, rich, hated by conservatives and donate to the same causes, it seems.
Tax documents released by the NFLPA show that countless dollars have been donated by the organization to anti-Trump groups and liberal causes over the years, such as the Center for Community Change Action- a group that is also bankrolled by Soros’ organizations.
The Player’s Association also contributed several thousand to Working America, which reportedly spent over a million dollars trying to prevent a Trump presidency in 2016.
“Clearly, ‘social activism’ by NFL players includes aligning with George Soros and other liberal organizations like Planned Parenthood in support of the left’s agenda,” said 2ndVote, the conservative watchdog group that released the tax data.
According to the Washington Times, the NFL and NFLPA claim they met Tuesday to discuss “the important issue of social activism by NFL players,” but 2ndVote urged them to cease playing favorites in politics.
“With television audiences declining every week and fans growing increasingly tired of the disrespect of the flag, the league and the players’ union would find it in their best interest to end the liberal activism and focus on football,” said 2ndVote. “After all, millions are finding it in their best interest not to watch the NFL at all.”
