An Erie County Sheriff’s deputy and his wife have both been arrested and are facing charges relating to prostitution.
According to WIVB, Lancaster police picked up Melissa Waliczek in August for prostitution. A month later, her husband, Wallace Waliczek, was arrested and charged with promoting prostitution.
Wallace Waliczek is a deputy who works in the jail division.
Since his arrest, Waliczek has been on unpaid administrative leave.
Investigators are now looking into both the Waliczek’s history.
Melissa Waliczek is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
