A Minnesota man who stoked the coals of BLM-related unrest and activism after he was killed by police in April has once again surfaced into the public eye, this time in a video that showed him playing with a handgun prior to robbing a woman.
Daunte Wright, the 20-year-old who was killed in a police-involved shooting in April, was seen in the video fooling about in a bathroom stall with what appears to be a Smith & Wesson SD series handgun, a low-cost S&W offering with a reputation for use among criminals and those on a budget.
Wright failed the pistol about, even pointing it at his head.
Not long after the December 2019 video was filmed, Wright and an 18-year-old friend were charged with aggravated robbery after he allegedly pointed the gun at a woman.
According to Fox News, Wright reached into the victim’s clothing, choked her, and demanded she hand over $820 in cash located in her bra.
Wright, described as a “documented LOUD PACK gang member” by police, reportedly knew the location of the woman’s cash because her rent was due.
Wright was later accused of violating the terms of his release and was killed while attempting to escape in April of this year.
