New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick struck two pedestrians with her vehicle shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday at Decatur and Iberville streets, the NOPD said.

A woman was transported by paramedics to a local hospital for treatment and is currently listed in stable condition. The man is not claiming any injuries at this time, the NOPD said.

Kirkpatrick took a breathalyzer and urinalysis as per departmental accident protocol. The breathalyzer returned a result of 0.00. The urinalysis results will be returned within a few days, the NOPD said.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time, the NOPD said.
