Police in Henderson, NV near Las Vegas are investigating multiple gunshots that were fired into a marked patrol car last week. The car was parked and unoccupied at the time.
The patrol vehicle was parked at the Henderson Animal Care and Control Facility overnight and the bullet holes were seen the next morning, according to Henderson PD and Fox 5.
“In today’s climate, we take these incidents seriously as officer safety is of utmost importance,” said Henderson Police Chief Patrick Moers. “We ask our community members to continue to work with us and to be our eyes and ears on the street. If you see something, say something.”
The department is asking that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
