A Tickfaw man was arrested by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office after they found property in his possession that had been stolen from a local church.
According to NOLA, 22-year-old Brett Gonzales was booked on March 15th and charged with the burglary of a religious building.
Detectives state that they received information implicating Gonzales in the robbery of the Little River United Pentecostal Church, which was ransacked earlier this month.
Upon arrival, they found and recovered the stolen property, including a 32-inch flat screen TV, DVD player and sound system.
