A British mother obsessed with serial killers and the ‘gameier side of sex’ reportedly killed her partner, later showing his body to her friend over video chat.
Shaye Groves, 27, is accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend, Frankie Fitzgerald, in what has been called a moment of “passion.”
The incident took place in the summer of last year, though the case is currently underway in Winchester Crown Court in South England.
Jurors learned the couple’s sex life involved bondage, dominance, submission, and masochism.
Groves’ bedroom walls were adorned with portraits of serial killers and fictional villains.
At one point after Fitzgerald’s killing, Groves called her friend, Vikki Baitup, and showed her the body over video chat.
“I’ve done him,” she said.
Groves later attempted to use details from true crime documentaries to create an alibi, only for it to fall flat on its face.
The woman, who reportedly murdered her boyfriend while her children were in the house, and police who responded to the scene reported smelling an incredibly strong odor of bleach.
According to the Daily Mail, Groves claims she acted in self-defense, though Fitzgerald was asleep at the time of the murder.
The court case is expected to last four weeks.
