A man and woman claiming allegiance to the “Moorish Nation” says they had a legal right to live in the multi-million dollar home of NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

According to WBTV, the Mooresville home is currently empty and on the market for sale.

Darius Hall and Nataijah Fields, both Columbia, South Carolina residents, were arrested on August 19th.

Police have not revealed how they found out about the couple.

Hall was charged with breaking and entering, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, carrying a concealed gun, and second-degree trespassing. He was given a $25,000 secured bond.

Fields faces similar charges.

The Moorish nation has similar beliefs to sovereign citizens and can claim that property owned by another individual is actually theirs.
