The former president of a Missouri police charity is facing charges for stealing proceeds and using them for her own personal gain.
35-year-old Angela McMunn is facing three counts of receiving stolen property and one count of unlawful merchandising practices.
McMunn, the former head of the Shop with a Cop Program, reportedly pilfered money from a fund meant for wounded Ballwin Police Officer Mike Flamion, who was paralyzed in the line of duty.
During her time, she stole $1,250 in funds for personal use, including volleyball fees, loan payments, and other expenses.
According to KMOV, McMunn was arrested Tuesday and her bond is set at $6,000.
