Looks like another German police department is losing an officer for the next year after she was crowned Miss Germany 2019 Sunday night.

Nadine Berneis said she will apply for a one-year sabbatical after she beat out more than 9,000 women for the title of Miss Germany 2019.

According to the Daily Mail, Berneis is a cybercrime investigator. Before that she patrolled downtown Stuttgart.

Just last month another German police officer turned model, Adrienne Koleszar, returned to patrol after a six-month sabbatical.

Koleszar was dubbed ‘Germany’s most beautiful’ officer last year. Her chief approved a six-month vacation but recently gave her an ultimatum, either get back to work or leave the force.

In January Koleszar decided to return to patrol in an Instagram post.

Berneis will likely have to make the same decision Koleszar just went through after her run as Miss Germany comes to an end in 2020.

Here is Miss Germany’s interview video for the pageant showing her work for the police department.
