A married state trooper in the state of Pennsylvania is facing serious felony charges for harming and arresting his mistress.
Ronald Keith Davis was arrested last week in connection to an August domestic incident with his paramour, Michelle Perfanov.
Perfanov was living in his Davis’ camper trailer when their four-month relationship came to an end.
The adulterous Davis obtained a petition to have her involuntarily committed to a mental institution.
“You’re done. F**k around and find out. Get out of my house now,” he texted her.
According to Local21, Davis was filmed by a colleague as he pursued her and took her into custody, causing her injury.
Perfanov had reportedly claimed she would drive off a cliff but claimed she was trying to elicit a reaction.
“Taken in context, the texts revealed her frustration with Trooper Davis and his controlling behavior (and her desire to break off the relationship), not a true desire to harm herself,” the affidavit says. “The criminal complaint accuses Davis of ‘knowingly or intentionally impeding the breathing or circulation of the blood of another person by applying pressure to the throat or neck.”

Davis was reportedly outraged that Perfanov was leaving him to start a new life in another city, documents allege.
The trooper was charged with felony strangulation, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and official oppression.
He has since been arraigned and remanded without bail.
