A Florida man who allegedly spit on a member of Tallahassee’s finest following a dispute at a fast food restaurant is facing charges for threatening to shoot and sue the policeman after informing the lawman that he was the son of a Sheriff’s deputy.
24-year-old Frederick B. Revell Junior reportedly caused a disturbance at a local Whataburger, resulting in a TPD officer being dispatched to the location around 4AM last Thursday.
When Revell was asked to leave by the officer to leave, he gave the officer the middle finger and began to walk outside.
Suddenly, Revell turned around and spit on the officer, which resulted in him being Tased in his stomach and right arm. As he was being prepped for transport to a medical facility, he threatened the officer by dropping his alleged father’s name.
“Don’t you know who my dad is?” he said. “You never heard of Deputy Revell? He’s my dad. That’s right, I’m the son of a deputy and you [expletive] up. My dad is kinda a big deal. I am going to call my dad and I will have your badge.”
According to 11Alive, he then told the arresting officers “if you touch me I am going to shoot you and sue your [expletive].”
Barred by the judge from going back to the Whataburger, Revell was booked into Leon County Jail and now faces charges of trespassing, battery on a law enforcement officer and intimidation.
