A 28-year-old man in Seattle ripped the sunroof off of a car and used it as a weapon while attacking a parking enforcement officer in downtown Seattle.
The incident took place Thursday evening, when the crazed individual attacked a vehicle belonging to resident Matt Reynolds.
Reynolds filmed the encounter and noticed that the attack on the parking officer was seemingly random.
“It was like he was on a mission,” he told KING5. “Like somebody might have been chasing him or he was going somewhere, but [when] the second the cop interacted with him, everything changed.”
The man ran over the top of two other vehicles before crashing into Reynolds’ windshield. In all, the damage came to around $10,000.
Eventually, several locals were able to hold the man down before police arrived. He is currently being held on charges of assault and malicious mischief.
The 51-year-old parking officer was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
