Man repeatedly rams truck into Fox news station in Dallas

A Texas man rammed his pickup into the windows of a Fox affiliate studio in Dallas earlier this morning, creating a scene that eventually required the bomb squad to show up.

The man drove his Ram pickup into the windowed portion of the building, and immediately began “ranting” after getting out of the truck. During the ordeal, he began stacking boxes full of paper next to the building. Reporters claim that he began showing the papers to police and screaming something about “high treason.”

“Said man said something about ‘high treason,’ ranted about a Sheriff’s department and held up papers against windows,” the Twitter post read.

The suspicious man also left behind a bag, which had to be interrogated by the bomb squad.

The Dallas Police evacuated much of the staff, though some were left behind in order to keep programming on the air.

“A man crashed a truck into the side of our building this morning,” FOX 4 wrote on Twitter. “He jumped out and started ranting. He’s in custody now but the bomb squad is on its way. He left behind a suspicious bag. Most have been evacuated & a few are working to keep the news on air from a secure location”

The suspect is reported to be in custody.
