On Monday morning a Pineville, NC bank had a run in with the dark side of the force. According to MNEM TV 5, the State Employees Credit Union was robbed at gunpoint around 11:45 a.m. by a man dressed as Darth Vader.
The would-be Sith Lord, described by witnesses as a 5’5” black male wearing dark clothing, escaped the scene in a 4-door gray Chevy Suburban. Luckily, no one was injured during the robbery. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money, but FBI Charlotte has joined the investigation to aid the police.
