A man in Nebraska has been arrested after causing significant damage while going on a rampage with a skid-steer loader.

Samuel Peyrot, 36, started his crime spree at a U-Stop convenience store around 2:30 pm on Sunday.

He rammed into several vehicles with the loader before driving to a Home Depot where he continued to damage more vehicles.

A video released of the incident shows him striking a police SUV that responded to the scene at the Home Depot.

After being struck, the officer exited his vehicle and took Peyrot into custody at gunpoint.

According to the Lincoln Star, “Lincoln police said the skid loader was owned by Peyrot’s employer and that Peyrot had transported the skid loader to the U-Stop gas station with a company-owned truck and trailer.”

Peyrot was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, second-degree assault of an officer, and criminal mischief.
