A Maine woman who got into a violent argument with her husband over his alleged affair is facing time in the slammer.
But it’s not the charges or circumstances surrounding the crime making headlines around the country, it’s what the woman was wearing in her mug shot.
Ironically, the woman who was waving a handgun around her bedroom, threatening her husband was sporting a “STOP domestic violence” T-shirt, while being booked into the Piscataquis County Jail.
38-year-old Emily Wilson was charged with a “Class C crime of domestic violence reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and the Class D crime of domestic violence assault,” according to the Bangor Daily News.
She had allegedly fired a shot into the mattress inside the couple’s bedroom, right before her husband dialed 911.
Wilson could face 5 years behind bars. According to local news reports, Wilson is a high school social studies teacher and hockey coach.
