A Kentucky lawman took out an armed robbery suspect in Louisville on Tuesday, firing through his windshield to engage the bandit.
The adrenaline-pumping incident began when Louisville Metro Police made contact with a man meeting the description given by the robbery victims brandished a handgun.
Acting quickly, the officer (who was wearing a body camera) shot through his windshield, mortally wounding the suspect.
According to Fox32, a former police chief from Madison, Wisconsin reportedly derided the LMPD officer’s actions as “reckless,” claiming the trajectory of the bullet could have drastically changed due to the windshield.
