After spending 36 years patrolling Florida’s highways in Manatee County Trooper Barbara Ehrhart called in her final 10-42.
Ehrhart was the longest-serving female trooper in FHP.
In her final call, Ehrhart said, “I hope that I have encouraged other woman through my years, that may have entered law enforcement and those thinking about entering law enforcement.” She went on to thank her family for supporting her.
Trooper Ehrhart also fought back emotions and tears as she made her call.
She now heads into retirement and intends to spend more time with her family.
