A Wayne County Sheriff’s deputy has filed a gender discrimination and sexual harassment lawsuit after she says her male co-worker sexually harassed her and that her boss — the co-worker’s wife — let it happen.
According to Fox 2 Detroit, Deputy Angelina Taylor says she tried to ignore the unwanted advances but her male co-worker became so vocal that many deputies saw and heard what he was saying and doing.
Taylor even filed a complaint to her direct supervisor, the co-worker’s wife.
According to Taylor’s attorney, her boss failed to formally file the complaint and began to scrutinize the deputy’s work. She even confronted the deputy and accused her of having an affair with her husband, something Taylor has denied.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has refused to comment due to an ongoing investigation.
