Police in Williamson County, Texas are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a K-9 that broke out of his kennel during a severe thunderstorm that swept through the county Tuesday.

According to a Williamson County Sheriff’s Office bulletin, the Dutch Shepherd was last seen in the vicinity of Elmo Street in Florence, Texas. He is a brindle-colored dog with a brown leather collar and a silver-colored pinch collar. He answers to “Chico”.

Anyone who sees the K-9 is advised to not approach him. Rather, Sheriff’s officials ask people to observe his location and call 911 or 512-844-6230 immediately to tell dispatchers where he is.
