Federal authorities have arrested four people, including one left-wing journalist, for firebombing the Little Rock Police Department during a summer Black Lives Matter protest.
According to Fox News, Renea Goddard worked for the Little Rock public radio station, a local LGBTQ activist group, and interned for the Arkansas Public Radio.
The protest happened on August 25. During the incident, Goddard and three others began firebombing police vehicles while a larger group surrounded a police substation.
The ATF said it took months of investigation work to find the culprits.
Goddard was also arrested during a June BLM protest.
“As more and more white supremacists try to rebrand themselves, journalists have a responsibility to be vigilant,” Goddard wrote in 2019 on the news site Truthout. “There needs to be an end to this farce that neutrality necessitates taking a centrist position.”
