It wasn’t such a thankful Thanksgiving for one man trying to steal items from an Antioch, California church.

According to CNN, Pastor Nick Neves was doing a normal round of checks at the church when he saw a smashed window and propped open door. He stepped in to find a man with a bunch of items in his arms and looked to run when he saw Neves.

Neves called the police and tackled the would-be robber to hold him down. The two began to struggle but Neves had Brazilian jiu-jitsu training and was able to hold the suspect down.

The suspect has not been identified but police say he will face multiple charges including burglary, robbery, and battery.
