A normal day fishing on the ocean became a domestic dispute when a man refused to give his phone’s passcode to his girlfriend or Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation officers.According to the NY Post, the incident happened in April and the video was just released this week.In the video, “AJ” and his girlfriend were fishing in the Florida Keys when the officers approached them. They told AJ that the boat had code violations and that both AJ and his girlfriend failed to produce any identification.AJ began arguing with his girlfriend and the officers over access to his phone and what constituted proper identification. He then jumped into the ocean and began swimming to shore, leading the officers on a seven-minute water chase.FWC caught him at the shoreline, put him in cuffs, and formally arrested him from there. There is no word on what charges AJ faces or if he’s still with his girlfriend after she threatened to leave him if she didn’t comply.© 2024 Bright Mountain Media, Inc.
