An amateur Houston rapper who goes by the name BTB Savage lived, or should I say died, by that name he was gunned down in what police are calling a targeted shooting.
According to ABC 13, Darrell Gentry, aka BTB Savage, was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run shooting in River Oaks.
Savage went viral earlier that week after he said he had killed a robber in his home in a now infamous video. Savage said he continued to shoot the robber even after he was pleading for his life and then posted photos of him at the crime scene while holding stacks of money.
When asked by the VLAD TV interview if he was worried about being targeted, BTB Savage responded, “they might do what they do, but I’m going to get active. That’s all that it is.”
Police have only confirmed that they believe it was a targeted shooting. They do not have any information about the suspects.
