Following a major thumping in the New Hampshire primary at the hands of self-described socialist Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton is going to refocus her campaign on racial issues.  The move is seen as a way to prevent minorities from flocking to Sanders.

Just days after multiple law enforcement officers were shot and killed by criminals, including the horrific incident in Maryland on Wednesday that took the lives of two veteran police officers, Clinton’s retooled campaign will hitch itself to the coattails of the Black Lives Matter movement. A movement largely based on false and intentionally misleading information, like the “hands up, don’t shoot” mantra.

In a recently released campaign video, Hillary says there is “just something fundamentally broken when African Americans are more likely to be arrested .. for doing the same things that whites do.” She even spreads the false narrative that police go around indiscriminately killing black people for no reason. “When too many encounters with law enforcement end tragically … We have to face up to the hard truth of injustice and systemic racism.”

Hillary will be campaigning alongside the mothers of Eric Garner and Trayvon Martin, according to the Daily Caller.

In a climate that has seen 7 officers and 4 K9 officers killed by gunfire so far this year, and 17 total Line of Duty Deaths in only 6 weeks, it’s disgusting to use tonight’s national platform in a way that will increasingly put officers in the crosshairs of those who already are becoming more and more anti-police.  The strategy is as simple as it is awful, convince people they are being persecuted by law enforcement, and present yourself as a means to end that persecution.  Perhaps it’s easy if there is complete disregard for the actual facts, statistics, and the impact on law enforcement officers, their families and society as a whole.
