A high school dance team in Illinois is getting some strange looks after several of the troupe’s girls took some suggestive photos in front of a Granite City Police vehicle, with their adult coach in the photo.

“When I saw the photos I was very shocked, very disappointed, very surprised,” Granite City Schools Superintendent Jim Greenwald told KSDK , saying he “knew immediately it was very inappropriate and they had crossed the line.”

To make matters worse, the photos were taken during a community outreach event with GCP. During the event, other students took photos with the officers and their vehicles, yet the dance team managed to pull off the risque photos at some point.

“We can’t take back what took place but we certainly will continue to work to make sure people make better choices,” Greenwald said.

The Superintendent said that police are not at fault for the incident and that the school has yet to decide what, if any, discipline will be administered to the students and coach.
