Authorities in the District of Columbia are hoping the local community of DuPont Circle can assist them in identifying members of a teenage gang responsible for the brutal attack of two men.
The incident took place earlier this month outside of a Hilton hotel, when two men were spotted by a group of teens, some believed to be as young as 13.
“That’s him,” one of the suspects reportedly shouted before they swarmed the men.
According to Fox 5 DC, one victim managed to get inside of the hotel lobby, leaving his friend behind in an attempt to get help.
Alone and surrounded, the man who was brought to the ground was kicked, punched, and even spit on in a violent flurry of attacks that seemed to go on forever. One suspect curb-stomped the man’s head several times before fleeing.
Both victims suffered eye and head injuries from the attack, requiring a trip to a nearby hospital.
The attack took place at around 1 AM on July 14, and DC Metropolitan Police officials have requested that the public come forth with any information.
