Last month a brave armed citizen “calmly” shot an armed robber multiple times for trying to rob a gas station called Stone Lake Marathon.

A Michigan man is being hailed as a hero after police release surveillance video showing him stopping a robbery by pulling out his small handgun and shooting a box-knife-wielding man.
According to WSBT, the incident happened back in July but the video showing what unfolded was recently released.
The owner says that things were going fine that night when the suspect came in, pulled out a box knife, and said, “You know what this is.”
A Good Samaritan inside saw what was happening, pulled out his handgun, and fired one shot at the would-be-armed robber, hitting him.
The robber was taken to a hospital where he was in stable condition.
He faces multiple charges once he’s released from the hospital.
Police say the helpful hero did have a valid conceal and carry license.
