A former United Way volunteer of the year has been arrested for having a sexual relationship with a teen for the last 15 months.
According to WPTV, Valerie Esposito is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old male for nearly a year and a half.
Police say Esposito chatted with the boy online before the two began the affair.
No word how Esposito met the teen initially.
The Vero Beach resident is active in the community as she helped the United Way and was once named “Volunteer of the Year” by the non-profit organization.
