A Florida woman is blaming the wind for a small baggie of cocaine found inside her handbag, claiming that a devious breeze must have blown the illicit substance into her satchel.
Arrested last month on possession charges, 26-year old Kennecia Posey was initially found swerving all over the road when police pulled her over on March 21.
After smelling a strong odor of marijuana, police searched the car and found two small bags of cocaine and marijuana.
“I don’t know anything about any cocaine,” Posey said, according to a report obtained by ABC 10. “It’s a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse.”
Posey did, however, admit to owning the weed. The cocaine was a different story.
Busted for one felony count of cocaine possession and a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession, she was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail and released on bond.
