Two Florida Sheriff’s Deputies have been disciplined for spreading the word about the apparent death of comedian and actor Bob Saget in an Orlando hotel.
According to the NY Post, Deputy Emiliano Silva and Steven Reed told people about the “Full House” star’s death to the media and other individuals when they were not authorized to do so.
Silva told his brother, who then tweeted the information out. Reed was off-duty but found out from co-workers and then told other people.
Those tweets and spread of information before the official release had the media, regular people, and Saget’s widow calling the Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office has not announced what the exact penalties were for the two deputies.
