A now-former Hallandale Beach Police Department employee is in jail after he was found to be pawning off department-issued equipment.
Accord to WPLG, some of the items Kleyman sold off included a semiautomatic rifle, pistol, and laser lights.
According to the Police Chief, Yan Kleyman was fired and arrested after an investigation into the employee’s actions.
Kleyman had worked for the department since 2011.
