A Florida Highway Patrolman was struck while performing his duties on I-95 near Hobe Sound.
FHP spokesman Lieutenant Al Feola reported that the trooper was struck by an Audi after the car was rear-ended by a truck.
The trooper was sent flying into the air and CBS 12 reports that he sustained serious injuries.
After medical personnel assisted the trooper, he was transported to a hospital in West Palm Beach. As of now, there is no word as to whether or not charges will be filed against the drivers of the offending vehicles.

Or a Van… maybe
“Offending VEHICLES”??? Looks to me like an Audi driver slowing down when approaching and passing the scene of an accident and a van driver not paying attention. I can’t see any valid charges against the Audi driver. I’d like to know, from the wording in this article, what other offending vehicle they’re referring to.
Well charges shouldn’t be filed against the driver of the Audi; It wasnt their fault.
Agreed.
