An ICE agent is now facing charges after trying to woo a Kansas TV journalist with inappropriate conversation and information from his job.
US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Agent Andrew Pleviak is in hot water after he told KAKE-TV Anchor Deb Farris that he had all kinds of information for future stories- albeit with a twist.
Then all of a sudden it turned inappropriate and he was texting me things that made me uncomfortable and I got scared,” Farris recalled.
Contacting the Wichita Police, she was encouraged to put up security cameras and fill out a report.
According to USA Today, Federal prosecutors indicted Pleviak in July of last year with two counts of “exceeding authorized access to a government computer for accessing information from the National Crime Information Center” and one count of “destruction of records in a federal investigation.”
ICE did not comment on whether or not Pleviak was still with the agency.
Pleviak was recently jailed due to violating bond conditions and now faces a hearing on February 5.
Phone records pulled from his iCloud (with cooperation from Apple) revealed a mountain of messages exchanged and a long list of disturbing conduct, particularly towards Farris, making it very clear that ICE had a potential stalking case within their own ranks.

I’m not sure when it became okay to make things up and put it in print. It is completely untrue.
