They say it is often colder in the Big Apple, and this case of hit-and-run is no exception.
The incident, which took place last Monday and was caught on security footage, shows a Bronx driver smashing into an old woman pushing a baby in a stroller.
Despite the severity of the accident, the 62-year-old woman and 2-year-old child were merely glanced over by the driver, Otello Rapini, before he resumed driving.
Rapini was arrested later in the day and charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
According tot he New York Post, the child was taken to a local hospital and his caretaker suffered a bruised leg.
The incident remains under investigation.
